Our Collaborations
Our Collaborations
As a business that truly believes in growing by collaborations rather than competition, we at Shuffling Suitcases have collaborated with a number of brands excelling in the field of sustainability. Be it in the form of a social media collaboration, venue partnership or food & beverages partnership, we truly believe in supporting our ethical community. Following are some of our notable partnerships
On National Hemp Day, we collaborated with the pioneers of ‘all things hemp’ in India, BOHECO to talk about the Himalyan wonder herb on our social media. The folks at BOHECO took over our Instagram stories to talk about hemp and its benefits all day long, answering questions by our followers.
We collaborated with the pioneers of women empowerment, Master G on International Women’s Day to honour the women sitting at the roots of the Fashion Industry.Every year, in the pursuit of honouring the ones at the top of their games, we forget to honour the ones behind the glitzy, glimmery clothes. We chose to bring the efforts of these women to the forefront, in collaboration with MasterG’s women karigars.
As a part of our efforts to highlight great initiatives around us, Shuffling Suitcases collaborated with Craftizen to talk about ‘Petalists’, a beautiful initiative that uses discarded flowers from temples and wedding venues to turn them into beautiful Holi colours, all being made by ‘persons with mental disabilities’.
As our clean eating partner, Shuffling Suitcases collaborated with The Culinary Lab for our Hemp & Cream Workshop as well as The Swap Party, to indulge our community in a local, sustainable eating experience with all the dishes made from seasonal, fresh produce.
We collaborated with Fashion Revolution India to host our first ever workshop during the Fashion Revolution week in 2019 giving our community a chance to upcycle leather, learn the art of dying using natural ingredients, answering their questions and teaching them about transparency with the hashtag #WhoMadeMyClothes
We collaborated with India’s first zero-waste lifestyle store cum café for our Hemp & Cream Workshop along with the Swap Party where they talked about the zero waste initiative- the new, sustainable ways of shopping and using zero waste alternatives in everyday lives
We collaborated with Refash for Shuffling Suitcases’ ‘The Seen/Unseen’ Edition in Mumbai for an upcycling workshop using old, discarded clothing- using it to make beautiful upcycled products like kimonos, scrunchies etc, teaching the art of reusing and reducing to the visitors.
When two communities come together, great things are bound to happen. Such was the case when Shuffling Suitcases collaborated with We Work Singapore to curate two amazing editions for Singapore.
We collaborated with the very known- Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, the pioneers of women designer wear shopping in India to curate a Shuffling Suitcases edition in their store in Delhi. We had workshops, clean eating at the happiest pop-up in the city where we curated sustainable brands from all over India for two days at the multi designer.
Teaching and talking about the art of reusing and recreating, we collaborated with the good folks at Use Me Works to do a DIY dream catchers activity that made people slow down and enjoy the act of creating out of waste fabric at one of our Delhi edits.
Shuffling Suitcases collaborated with Black Orchid to talk about upcycling and conducting beautiful upcycling workshops at our various editions. From creating stunning upcycled jewellery using discarded fabric to hosting an awesome swap party, we have had many exciting collaborations with Black Orchid
"To inspire those around us to live a healthy and happy life" is the mission of the brand that started from a nook in Shahpur Jat in Delhi. We collaborated with them for our first Delhi edit and it was an experience that we will remember for a very long time. A sustainable space with some scrumptious clean food and a sustainable curation - it was a match made in the sustainable heaven.
For us at Shuffling Suitcases, the space we conduct our workshops, Pop-ups and discussions are is as important as is our relationship with what we do. POND in Delhi has been one of the best collaborative spaces for us in terms of both aesthetics and ethics, reason why we did two back to back events in a single year and have many more planned in the pipeline.
Located in Anjuna, once a sleepy coastal village popularized by the hippie movement, now is turning into a hub for varied food and beverage experiences along with curated shopping. We took our suitcases to this Portuguese minimalism inspired venue in Goa and it was one happy four day long carnival. Coming back soon!
